Providing a platform for innovative thoughts on justice and improvement.

For instance, at the Local/State level: Could New York City implement a policy similar to the one that Toronto has, allowing a well-educated individual to conduct his own case, or help another, without having to hire lawyers who are so expensive that innocent individuals sometimes just plead guilty, if the case is minor (e.g., less than $5000 fine or one month in jail)?

At the National level: Should the SCOTUS be comprised of 13 or15 members, equal Republicans and Democrats and the rest Independents to minimize partisanship and regain trust of the public (an idea that Pete Buttigieg once floated and that seemingly never got deserved attention)?

At the International level, should a UN2 (and similarly NATO2) be created in parallel with the existing organizations, re-using much of the existing good elements and requiring certain values on the parts of the members, but having teeth in any army to stop wars from being started by terrorist countries and, in the case of NATO, from allowing one country to sabotage the goals of the organization? A millisecond after the agreements and structure are in place, disband the existing UN and NATO.

New Ideas

New ideas may be submitted under a pen name, especially if the author is in a potentially dangerous setting. Real names with credentials of course add authority to the post. Alleged facts for a particular incident that might be used as part of the theoretical idea must be reasonably substantiated or properly qualified, or else the submission may not be posted.

Finally, it is best to present, or assume, the most powerful arguments for both sides of a potential debate so that the idea triggers the most realistic and fruitful discussion and follow-up postings. In other words, this is not a venue for Twitter/X or Bluesky-type of short postings, especially those that merely vent against opponents, but a place to present serious, thoughtful and relatively developed theses similar to an opinion piece in traditional newspapers or journals, an article in an academic publication or its equivalent in France, where, e.g., bookstands sell monthly magazines in philosophy with 2- or 3-page contributions for the general public.

There is no favorite political stance, and for the sake of the most profound grasp of issues, we present any side, if reasonably argued. In short, True Justice Society (“TJS”) complements, e.g., serious YouTube videos and the like that might take 5-40 minutes to experience, which here are couched in textual form, even with recordings that are included during submissions (we will upload them and create the associated URL, if need be.

Ideas can be submitted at the bottom of the Home page or via the email address to the Editor in the footer.

Video or audio recordings must be less than 50M, and, given previous approval by the Editor, can be submitted (usually for free if under 2G total) with a program like WeTransfer.
